Acne & Acne Scarring
Acne can be mild to severe outbreaks of pimples, blackheads or cysts on the skin. It can be very embarrassing especially on the face because it is difficult to hide even with make-up. Acne can happen to anyone and at any time of their lives.
When excess oil is produced by the glands it’s important that it does not get trapped in the pore. Clients of Bodecare have had great success using the specifically designed brushes from Bodecare to buff off dead skin, keeping pores open to allow excess sebum/oil to freely flow out of the skin and stimulating the reproduction of new cells growth for the reduction of old scar tissue.
Dry brushing should never be done over open wounds, active acne cysts or pustules, to reduce the chance of spreading infection. Only start a dry face brushing routine as prevention of acne when it clears and for the reduction of post-inflammatory scarring (red pimple scars).
After each dry brush, spritz the bristles with Bodecare Tea Tree spray to keep the bristles clean and fresh. Best brush to use for the face is the Jute Dry Face Brush and for the body the Jute Long Handled Body brush. Jute plant bristle is a very fine bristle especially designed for the delicate skin on the face.
