Dry
Hold the timber paddle brush similar to Bodecare’s range of Scalp Massage timber paddle brushes and gently tap the head all over. This stimulates the circulation and nervous system. Gently glide the brush through the scalp from front to back. Flip your head over and brush from back to front and then from front to back again. If you have course long hair, you may need to gently brush the ends of hair first to detangle and then work in towards the scalp, to prevent any pulling.
This is a really quick way to destress. Take your brush with you and you could do this at work, waiting for the bus or just before you make a speech. Every small step to improve health and well-being is a big step to achieve overall happiness.
Wet
Give your hair and scalp a special treat with hair mask or hair oil.
Pour oil or massage in hair treatment on the central hair parting and massage down both sides of the scalp towards the ear as if shampooing. Next lean forward and pour oil or massage in hair treatment on the central back of scalp down to base of scalp and massage toward the ears and around the hair line from back to front. The whole scalp should now be covered with product, start massaging through to ends of hair.
